Meaning of Hot Dog

Hot Dog is a good food. Most young people in different parts of the world like this especial fast food. But many have doubt about its ingredients. 

Some of them think it might has dog meat. Here We can put the answer of the question-Why is it called hot dog?

Why is it called hot dog?

The tale of the mid-19th century, America was one of the good business place. Germans were going there for trading. 

Some of them were butchers and in the United States they began selling variations of sausages, some of which were thin and long, like the dog breed dachshund. They called these dachshund sausages. 

The German immigrants had managed to make that food popular in USA. Over time, the phrase may have been deserted into “hot dog.” ... No dog meat there, either. 

You might be surprising that,  Hot Dog’s main element is meat roll that seems to be dog’s penis.

Hot dogs are made from-

a) Meat

b) Meat fat

c) A "cereal filler" (bread crumbs, oatmeal or flour)

d) A little egg white

f) Spices (onion, garlic, salt, pepper, etc.)

Hot Dog's other usage: 
1. A surfer who performs stunts on the sea. 
Example: 'The Hot Dog' is on the beach

2. used to express delight. 
Example: "hot dog! I've finally found my cat"

3. perform tricks; show off. 
Example: "he chastised the dancers who'd been hotdogging"
