1.            I work in a post office.---আমি ডাকঘরে কাজ করি---Ami Dakgho e kaj kori
Are you a letter carrier? তুমি কি ডাকপিয়ন?---Tumi ki dak-peon
No, I'm a postal clerk.  না, আমি ডাক কেরানি---Na, Ami dak-kerani

2. Mizan works in a bank. --- মিজান একটি ব্যাংকে চাকুরি করেন---Mizan ekti bank e chakuri koren.
Is he a teller? তিনি কি টেলার? Tini ki teller?
Yes, he is. জ্বি, তিনি টেলার?---Ji, tini teller.

3. They live in Gabtoli. ... তারা গাবতলি থাকেন--- Tara Gabtoli thaken.
Are they cow-broker? তারা কি গরু ব্যাবসায়ী?---Tara ki goru bebosayee?
No, they aren't.  না, তারা গরু ব্যাবসায়ী নন। na, tara goru bebosayee non.

4. I eat breakfast at 8:00 a.m. আমি প্রাতঃরাশ করি সকাল ৮ টায়---Ami pratorash kori sokal at-tay
What do you eat?  তুমি কী খাও?---Tumi ki khao?


(I eat) eggs, cake, banana, and tea. আমি, ডিম, রুটি, কলা আর চা খাই---Ami Dim, ruti, kola, ar cha khai.

5. She goes to work at 9:00 a.m. তিনি কাজে যান সকাল ৯ টায়---Tini kaje jan sokal noy tay.
Where does she work? তিনি কোথায় কাজ করেন?---Tini kothay kaj koren.
In the readymade garment factory. --- তিনি তৈরি পোশাক কারখানায় কাজ করেন।---Tini toiri poshak karkhanay kaj koren.

6. Mujib plays Ha-Du-Du every Friday. প্রতি শুক্রবার মুজিব হাডুডু খেলেন---Proti shukrobar Mujib Ha-Du-Du Khelen.
Where does he play? তিনি কোথায় খেলেন?---Tini kothay khelen?
At the club. --- খেলাঘরে --- Khela ghore

7. Nishi starts class at 10:00. নিশি পড়ানো শুরু করেন ১০টায়---Nishi porano shuru koren dosh tay.
When does she finish? তিনি কখন শেষ করেন?--- Tini kokhon shesh koren?
At 11:00. ১১টায়---Egaro tay.

8. I don't drink beer. আমি বিয়ার পান করি না---Ami beer pan kori na
Why (not)? কেন করেন না?---Keno koren na?
I don't like it. আমি এটা পছন্দ করি না।--- Ami eta pochhondo kori na.
